Quality policy

 

Danske Fragtmænd’s quality policy covers all of the transportation chain, right from the first contact with the customer until the goods have been delivered to the consignee. In order to maintain content and loyal customers as well as attracting new ones, Danske Fragtmænd A/S works constantly and goal-oriented at strengthening the quality of the services we supply.

 

At Danske Fragtmænd A/S we endeavour continuously to improve our quality such as optimizing internal processes and solutions as well as exploiting the resources in the best possible way and thus remain to have the country’s leading transport system.

The cornerstone of the quality policy is the following concept:

 

Quality concept

 

Danske Fragtmænd A/S works according to a concept we call “day to day” delivery. This means that irrespective of the fact whether the consignee lives in the city or in the remotest corner of the country we deliver more than 95 per cent of the consignments on the first working day after loading the goods.

 

The consignments will be collected according to agreement with the consigner, often at the end of the day. In the course of the evening and the night the goods will be consolidated in our terminals, among other things in order to exploit the vehicles and equipment in the best possible way and thus taking care of the environment. Thereupon they will be carried directly to the consignee or to the terminal from where they will be distributed and delivered at the consignee’s the next day.

 

The Danske Fragtmænd system has a deficiency/breakage rate of less than 2 per mille of the about 10 million consignments that are handled on an annual basis. If any damage should occur it will be dealt with directly at one of our decentralized service offices.

 

As a customer at Danske Fragtmænd A/S you are able to follow your consignments at our site www.fragt.dk via track & trace, as the goods will always be scanned several times en route during transport.

 

In addition, it is of course possible for customers to book pick-ups electronically and thus ensure a high quality.
